Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information BYILD Media ("we", "us") collects through byild.media, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any question, email rohanpariharr@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Quote requests. When you use the "Get a quote" form we receive your name, email address, the services you selected, your message and the page you sent it from.
- Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include.
- Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are (country and city level), your device and browser, and how you arrived. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser) for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your request, prepare a quote and deliver the work you ask for. We use analytics data, in aggregate, to understand which pages are useful and improve the site. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Services that process data for us
- Formspree (formspree.io) receives quote requests from the website and forwards them to our inbox.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures site usage, only after you accept cookies.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google Workspace / Gmail stores our email.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and India.
Cookies
The site works without cookies. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. Your choice is saved in your browser; to change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and project emails for as long as needed to work with you and for our business records, and delete them on request unless we must keep them by law. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or state laws in the US), you can ask to see, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
